Obtaining a college degree is necessary to validate ones aptitudes and abilities in the business world. I did not feel like I was particularly smarter after graduating but the degree opened doors that being smart with only a HS diploma couldn't. I graduated in my early 30s and got a 40% pay increase with the same employer whom I had worked for five years. They didn't want to lose me - but did six months later when I changed fields and received an additional 20% increase in pay.

This University has pluses as well as minuses. The biggest two pluses, in my mind, is that it is relatively cheap to go here, and there is a medium-sized student body that doesn't overwhelm the faculty, so personal time is easier to get here. The drawbacks stem from unexplosive enthusiasm toward the subject matter being taught and a lot of clutter surrounding the solutions to administrative problems. They take forever to fix if they are fixed at all, and you are constantly battling the headaches they bring. This isn't a bad school, but it also isn's a good one and if you have an option, go towards something with a crisper definition of a University's purpose: education.

More money needs to be put into students, too much money is spent on university asethetics. Computer labs are not always open or accessible to students. There are not enough Left-handed desks avaliable in classrooms. Cafeterias do not have student friendly hours.
