Positive Negative Neutral Advice
The school is ok.Quite BrightEducation
The school is ok. Good online education program for non-traditional students but this semester they added a hefty "distance learning" fee to their tuition, I'm talking like $700 per class. The online education program is their bread and butter, I don't know anyone who would go here if it weren't for that. The campus itself is super small and the city of athens is depressing. Not a traditional college and not a traditional college town, nobody is going here for the traditional college experience, it is mostly adult students who are pursuing an online degree, that is until they run all of them off with these new fees.

Question
OMG! Don't go here.Quite BrightArt & Design Department
OMG! Don't go here. Don't you do it. Don't do it. No. No no no. Worst art department ever. The art department is so bad, they are moving it to another CITY!!! You have to drive 30 minutes to go to your art class and then another 30 minutes back to the main campus for the rest of your classes!

Question
This is a undergrad school, B.BrightEducation
This is a undergrad school, B.S. only. I transferred here because the school has a known reputation as a school for future teachers. I like the campus and the instructors but I'm going to transfer out regardless. The records department is staffed with some of the most indifferent people I have ever had the misfortune to interact with. Any problem you have with them will be your problem alone to resolve. They say they will call back and never follow through. This one department screw up everything you are trying to accomplish and they know it. I am leaving Athens State just so I don't have to deal with these people anymore. I would suggest everyone go else where until they have an appeals process in place to deal with these people or replace the head of the department.
