There are dorms on campus. If a Person is seeking a degree in either Busniss or Education this is the Best School, there are other major and they are also good too. The University if very rich with History. It is the oldest school in Alabame.
Mostly Athens is an Education School. Most students commute from other area so nightlife is not a factor to us. Many of the students are older and married so they tend to be very occupied with finishing their degree rather than partying. Overall it was a positive experience but did have some not so great days as well.
Athens State is a school for Education Majors, everyone else is mostly left to fend for themselves. There is absolutely no nightlife in Athens or Limestone County (Athens just became a "wet" city). On campus is even more dull. No campus involvement and only a handful of students even care about the University. Most students seem to be at ASU to get a degree and have no interest in an education or a campus social life.
