 | Quite Bright | Depending upon the type of person you may be, I strongly suggest that prospective students to this university exhibit extreme caution in making a final commitment decision. If you are a Serious student seeking a community where mental stimulation is upheld amongst the vast majority of the student body, HALT ABRUPTLY NOW! Go somewhere else! Students at this school are infinitely more concerned with getting absolutely wasted, or having conversation pertaining to amorphous, jargon replete trendy fashion, or who they fucked the night before...yuppie town indeed. Be wary!! This is a haven for self-conceited, entirely conservative, completely narcissistic, mindless sluts...though many of them are admittedly quite attractive, don't plan on engaging in any sort of meaningful conversation with them. As for the remaining aspects of the social scene, ..it is very much nonexistent much to my chagrin. The town is infinitesimally miniscule and offers NO real entertaining diversions from studying. Inordinate amounts of alcohol consumption and football seem to be everyone's only passions; an incredible shame. It's even more disheartening because actually, most professors I had or encountered were very intelligent, well-versed in their particular fields, and willing to help the students to succeed. All the professors are very accessible, seem amiable and are not a bit pompous. In conclusion, this isn't an insanely awful place to attend higher education strictly depending on the type of individual you are, however, non-conformists and free thinkers, you will be engulfed in a menagerie of mind numbing, Johnny frat boy assholes! 'Tis a mandate that you shall experience feelings of being lost, lonely, dejected, isolated from progressive society, and totally worthless. These maleovlent factors are precisely why I'm transferring to either the University of Georgia, Wisconsin, or Michigan next year.(I was accpted for transfer to all of these institutions after earning a 3.6 first year GPA) If your priorities and goals consist of a slightly more intellectually inclined orientation; more than simply booze and football, I'd seriously instruct you to seek higher learning and your temporary location of abode elsewhere. I must be honest in informing you this is definitely NOT worth it. If you are at all similar to me, please don't come here as I'd likely be your only friend and I'm outttttta here next year ^_^ | Innovation: A+, Surrounding City: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | The Auburn students are not friendly at all. The only way i know of to make friends here is to join a frat or sor. There is also a bunch of busy work assigned by the teachers here that will not benefit us students in the long run as we pursue jobs. WAY TO MANY GROUP PROJECTS where the work is loaded in a couple of good students in the group by bad students with no real repercussions from the professors.
