| Bright | The students and faculty are all very easy to get along with, however I feel that going to Wallace is somewhat a let down when it comes to curriculum. For example, there are X number of chapters in a given text book, out of 15 Chapters my technical advisor covered about 5 Chapters. What's in the other 10? Wallace is about passing the tests, you learn only what you have to on the tests...the rest is omission or unless you go home and read all those chapters, you won't learn anything outside of the test curriculum. That is convenient in many ways, but when I decided to start going to College, I went with the intentions of learning something for the benefit of the knowledge...if that's the goal that you have in mind you may be disappointed like me. I will continue to go there because the price is reasonable...approximately $6500 for a year of full time classes, Auburn is $12,000 per year for full time classes...do the math. If you can't do the math, not to worry, the teachers will teach you just enough to pass the math on the test and anything else is just extra curriculum. Nice place, campus, teachers, but the student that is looking for a challenging/personal journey into knowledge and full understanding...you're on your own with that book. Its not up to the teachers to spoon feed you everything, you're an adult and its up to you to reinforce the basics that the teachers will cover, I just feel that the "Basics" are just going through the motions when it comes to a secondary education. Electrical and Technical classes at Wallace will be limited to the type of work that is available in the local area, if you want to go into full blown automation or some deep field of technical expertise, consider going somewhere else like Southern Union in Auburn, AL. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Scholastic Success: D | | | |

| Quite Bright | Taking ADN at Wallace-Dothan was a mistake. Roy Johnson institutes new curriculum then gets fired. The Instructors at Wallace openly rebuked the material to the students and no lesson plans were developed to ensure thoroughness and continuity between instructors. Instructors used old curriculum material and instructed students to " find what you need in the new books". I would not recommend this program to anyone. | Campus Maintenance: C, Education Quality: F | | | |
