The main thing is, you get out what you put in. Get involved! There are plenty of fraternities, sororities, clubs, organizations, athletics, etc to join. Jacksonville, AL, is a small town and operates as such. There is the main "bar" where people go and everyone knows everyone. It's fun, but only if you make it fun. If you sit in your dorm/apt/house/etc. and expect people to come to you, it's not going to happen. Individual Value: A+, Surrounding City: C Have a Question? The people here are very close minded and they have the nerve to have bad attitudes. I do not like it here. They are not cultured and are just....very very boring. If you like the 'hometown' feel, you don't want to be around the 'big city', and/or you want to walk outside a see trees, flowers, and breath clean air... then JSU is the place for you. I will never forget my years at JSU. I would never ever change my experiences at JSU. I am now even working on my EDS through JSU. Just come and see JSU and you will fall in love.
