Finishing my second semester as a graduate student (MPA). This school is okay. Nothing great, nothing terrible. The faculty are pretty friendly for the most part. A lot of online classes are offered now, so that makes things more convenient if you work full time. Jax State is just a mediocre university, better than a fourth tier school but not at the level of a state university like Alabama or Auburn. JSU largely draws students from the Oxford, Anniston, and Gasdsen areas so it's pretty much regionally based to serve the needs of Northeastern Alabama. I think the school would benefit from a name change as most people think it's in Florida. Good football team though.
