You can find the good, the, bad and the ugly in every Collee and University in the world. There is something truly magical about the Oakwood experence but that magic is smothered with the all of the trials that you are faced with each day. Knowing that Oakwood is a private instatution there are alot of thing that should be done but cant be done due to money; then there are the things that have nothing to do with money that could change that are just are going to remain the same. The price that most student pay to attend this great College isnt worth the education they are receiving. So what can be done? There are a number of things that can effect the quality of the campus, education and facality and it has to start with someone speaking out and exknolodging that there is a problem and collectivly we can find the solution.

The school is completely inept. The coursework is neither challenging or up to date. The curriculum is archaic, and compared to other schools, Oakwood does not do well. The administration is inefficient, lackadaisical, rude, and out of touch. This is evidenced every year in the grueling registration process that is extremely long. The campus needs serious upgrading that is not only meaningful to the student body, but necessary to maintain some sort of standard of living. Money is spent frivolously. The school sucks is the bottom line, I would suggest that unless you are a person who conforms with no thought or questions, if you are independent of thought and mind; or if you believe that things in life just might be able to be done in another way, please save yourself a world of trouble and just don't go. Not even for a semester, cause it will and can mess you up for the rest of your life. Oh, I failed to mention most of there credits are non-transferable, so unless you want to start your college career all over at a new school, don't waste the time, the money, or the brainpower. However, you can get a decent party, the majority of the school loves to drink, smoke, club, and take part in other "extracurricular activities", for some its the only education they will receive. I'm not sure about how Christian the christian education is, it's just not there.
