 | Bright | Do not come to this school unless you are white, southern, and rich. Those are the kind of people that you will run into on campus. The majority of the students are Greek, and if you are not there will be nothing for you to do whether it is on campus or off campus. If you are looking for a college experience, forget about SHC. You will be attending high school all over again. Rumors run rampant and everyone is more concerned with the business others than their own boring lives. Everyone knows everyone, and you will not be able to get away from that whether is be on campus or downtown. There are no clubs, no sports that are worth watching, with the exception of the baseball team. Nightlife is a joke. People wander around the senior apartments and just let themselves in. You will see the same people every night at the same bars on Thursday nights. As for the nursing program, it is a joke. SHC nursing students are oftentimes looked down upon by other schools nursing students for their incompetence during clinicals. Overall I wasted a lot of time and money at Spring Hill, and I will be transferring as soon as possible. One good thing I can say about this school is that the majority of the faculty have been more than helpful and most of them are very knowledgeable and qualified in their field. | Individual Value: A+, Education Quality: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | Spring Hill provides me with such a certain comfort that I couldn't imagine myself at a big school such as FSU. Everyone likes to party and have the full college experience, which you'll get here, but you'll make it your own here and you won't feel as if your just a number. I hate the idea of kids who think unless the school there going to is a huge public university, college will be boring or not be up to par with their expectations. Or the awkward conversation with people who haven't heard of your school, scoffing that it must not be a good time. Well I can honestly say, having being privileged with many choices of schools, and having had a good social life with many friends, whom go to FSU and I visit throughout the school year, (good perk) I absolutely love it here and take pride in my school. Everything from athletics, to the academics, to the parties and bars in downtown, and participating in a fraternity, I couldn't be happier. I feel sort of enlightened being here. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Scholastic Success: B- | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | Disregard the last two negative comments below. Miss accounting down there went to SHC because of her family tradition. Please visit a school and determine if you like it or not before making a huge decision like that. Of course you did not like it, you chose to go there because of your family....so stop complaining. Also that was 15 years ago you were there. Many things have changed since you have attended. I hope the great education you received helped you get a great job ;). Yes there were some rumors about the nursing department this year and its program. But recently it received the maximum accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, so please do not be warded off by any doubts. It has a well respected curriculum and is indeed rigorous. If you take the time to do the work you'll be fine. Half the students switch out halfway second semester because of the toughness. And to the most recent negative comment, WE GO TO A JESUIT SCHOOL. You chose to go there. Dont complain about taking theology classes and other liberal arts curriculum. If the nursing classes are so easy why dont you study harder for theology classes your whining about. Oh and your cool tour guide didn't tell you we have to live on campus all four years, well we do. Get over it. There is not a huge night life in downtown mobile. There a handful of bars and few clubs which the students hang out at. But they are still a good time of fun with friends. It all depends on your necessity of party life. Sure alot of people party hard and it may get typical because of the small atmosphere, but you make your own fun here. I particularly enjoy the easy going setting of Spring Hill over any huge school. The ease and feeling of comfortability I have this school is unreal. It really does feel like home. If you constantly are in need of a raging time, that is splendid, join the club. But if you seriously cannot keep yourself preoccupied here, there is something wrong with you. The apartments and pods are the best place to have a good time though. Believe me you'll have a hell of a time here. Join greek life if your looking for an even more good time. Each one has a fit for any person. It gives you variety of activities and to make life long friends. Athletics are making a huge growth. Plans are underway for a new weight room facility in the bottom of the gym where it is much larger. The soccer team is going to make a name for themselves in the coming years. The basketball and rugby games are also just as fun to go to. The school is also going D2. Faculty are amazing here. They are so kind and helping to make sure your on the right path. Same goes for your advisor. Sure last year I had one teacher that i didnt like very much, but your bound to get one teacher you don't like. The campus is beautiful. It almost gets annoying how much they clean it everyday. But on the real side, it is very beautiful. Walking back from the library at night is a cool sight. So many ways to get involved on campus, great faculty and surroundings. Did I mention the beach, no, but I just did. Please don't be misled by the negative comments, visit the school, see for yourself if you like it or not. Join the badger nation, and have a perfect college experience from every end of the spectrum. But to each his own i guess...get up hill, go badgers | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Perceived Campus Safety: B | | | |
