Positive Negative Neutral Advice
It's definitely not aNutrition
It's definitely not a party school. I had a fantastic time. You have to put yourself out there and try new things and meet new people. I was an athlete so that helps.

Question
This school is too close minded.Quite BrightSocial Work
This school is too close minded. It would be the perfect school for a wealthy, southern baptist church child that does not wish to be challenged outside of their comfort zone. No one really knows what happens out in the real world. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT. I cannot wait to transfer out of here. I am an international student and would not wish this experience upon anyone.

Question
I personally enjoy Samford, despite its flaws.Quite BrightPolitical Science
I personally enjoy Samford, despite its flaws. I'm not particularly religious, so I'm in the minority, and I've noticed a lack of extracurricular activities and organizations that aren't specifically religious in nature. Most students are rather friendly, until they find out you disagree with their religious views, then they can become semi-distant. Most people aren't incredibly tolerant of other religions or homosexuality, but I've found a few great people to whom these are non-issues. Despite the moralizing and weird rules, Samford is still a great place to go.
