TAKE YOUR ASS TO ANOTHER ACADEMIC ESTABLISHEMENT..... I am a graduate of tuskegee university, and I'm here to tell you my degree and the tissue you just wiped you ass with hold the same value, the difference is the tissue serves a purpose. The biology departement at my highschool was more in depth than that which is placed in the delapodated ARMSTRONG HALL... they Won't let students go near any of the equipment in the laboratories other than a microscope. You will not gain any of the experience needed to work in anyone's lab, unless you kiss ass for summer research in a teachers lab, and I do mean kiss ass, I am not a quitter so I finished my coursework and received my degree, but Damn this school is worthless. I beg of you dear young Adult, turn away.

First let me say this, I will never be able to own a home, have children or save for a decent retirement. If you have to take out student loans to attend this so called University, than there is no need to attend! Sallie Mae is a theif!

Little did I know that on my initial tour I had only been shown the best parts of the campus. I had basically been lied to about what the "Tuskegee Experience" was all about.

This school forces intelligent people who don't want to be labeled a negative term to dumb their selves down in order to have a semi decent social existence. After being surrounding by ignorance, it consumes you and in the end leaves you handicaped for the future.

Upon my arrival I was assigned Olivia Davidson Hall. I was initially impressed with the Alphas that helped the girls move in...however, this was a brainwashing technique. My mom cried when she saw my living quarters! Yes, it was that bad. Mold and roaches were rampant! It was worse than living in the projects!

Ok fast forward a few years and by the grace of God I graduated! I somehow managed to meet the requirements for graduation. After 5 long years of struggling with unruly students, hateful peers, scandalous profesors and a drug addiction coupled with alcoholism: I made it out semi sane!

Yes it was supposed to be a happy occasion but I soon found myself extremely depressed. First, NO JOB! Than extremely underpaid and forced to work like a slave because your are disposable to what ever company you were able to talk into hiring you. Second, I owe that heifa sallie mae almost 100,000 dollars!!! At this time I have no way to pay her back. My family can't help and I have no one else. At this rate, I might as well cease to exist because I am truly F***ked! I am typically a positive person, but now since you know some of my story it might be safe to assume that positivity is simply a delusion. But I have no other choice but to try. I enjoyed this break from searching the internet for jobs but I must return to my search for better.

I went to Tuskegee because I thought that it was a great school and that it would help me get further along in life. Well I was WRONG. Although TU is ranked #6 among HBCU's it sure doesn't seem that way. You have to hound any and everyone to get things done, plus if you're a girl and you're not in White Hall ..living conditions are terrilbe. There is NOTHING modern about the boy's housing period. It cost 22,000 to attend the school and honestly...it is NOT worth it. For those students in the military, engineering, vet program and business-you have a GREAT chance of getting a job after graduation. Whereas for the Liberal Art and ETC I think it would be very difficult! I can say that the social scene is OK but the friends you will make LAST forever! At TU its all about WHO YOU KNOW, and if you know no one...good luck. I.E. If you're an entering freshman..your Financial aid will be GREAT but don't look for it to be the same come your second year. TU is good for Losing things and Charging you for random things! Oh and lets not forget the NO in room co-ed visitation! Be ready to pay a fine for obstructions. Homecoming ..isn't all its HYPED up to be! The campus has terrible advertisement to campus clubs-but the party advertisement is very active. The dorm director are lazy and mean sometimes. The security, coaches and even teachers sometime sleep with the students for whatever reason. And don't be surprised if you encounter a robber along the way. My advice would be TALK to as many people in your field as possible, try to contact alumni as well. FACEBOOK,MYSPACE, Internet reviews, Do it all BEFORE you make you decision. Oh an the city SUCKS.BRING YOUR OWN CAR Your First YEAR!!!
