I am a graduate of tuskegee university, and I'm here to tell you my degree and the tissue you just wiped you ass with hold the same value, the difference is the tissue serves a purpose. The biology departement at my highschool was more in depth than that which is placed in the delapodated ARMSTRONG HALL... they Won't let students go near any of the equipment in the laboratories other than a microscope. You will not gain any of the experience needed to work in anyone's lab, unless you kiss ass for summer research in a teachers lab, and I do mean kiss ass, I am not a quitter so I finished my coursework and received my degree, but Damn this school is worthless. I definitely loved Tuskegee, although I didn't appreciate it at that time. I strongly regret not taking advantage of everything that the school has to offer regarding networking and connections. Many of my classmates are doing great things and there is a definite love of the school among all of the alumni. Choose wisely, you will definitely need to connect with people and nurture those connections after you graduate. The Tuskegee experience forges a bond that you will cherish for the rest of your life - if you take advantage of everything that it has to offer.
