 | | THIS IS THE MOST AWFUL SCHOOL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. The staff was SO RUDE TO ME it was ridiculous-anywhere from the admissions office to my professors. The professors I had were all foreign, so it was extremely hard to understand them. On top of, my credits didn't transfer like they should have, so I would have had to go an extra TWO YEARS if I continued there. I will NEVER step foot back in this school again. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |

| | Average | Horrible university. I know now why ATU is the cheapest in the state. As a student you are treated by the faculty (not the professors, but those with LESS college than most of the students) as inferior due simply to your age. ATU does not have it together with their policies either. Holds will be placed on your account for very minor issues, and it is very difficult to remove the holds. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Useful Schoolwork: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | I came to Tech through a series of familial misfortunes to the point that it became the most affordable, realistic option. I had several other schools picked out, and had been admitted to IU Bloomington's music program. Tech simply became the only viable option. From the second I sat down in freshman orientation to my last day of finals freshman year, I have been nothing if not impressed with the school, particularly the faculty. I'm a music performance (double specialty-horn & piano)/pre-medical biology double major, and I have continually underestimated not only the patience and helpfulness of the faculty but, as far as the music department goes, talent. Some of the music staff have attended Juilliard, some come from overseas. I know of one who has played with the Rome Symphony Orchestra. The things I haven't been as impressed with are the students. You should NOT come to this school if you have a problem with rednecks. There also seems to be a desperate lack of attractive girls. Just saying. Also, the dorm I stayed in was literally falling apart. We have keycards to access our dorms. Well, we didn't need them, as we didn't have external doors for a semester. They had all fallen off by the second week, and maintenance was painfully slow at getting them, or anything else, repaired. And all the pianos are always out of tune. | Education Quality: B+, Useful Schoolwork: F | | | |
