Question
I just graduated from Arkansas Tech last weekQuite BrightOther
I just graduated from Arkansas Tech last week and attending this school was definitely the right decision on my part. I had a very positive college experience, enjoyed my major coursework, learned from great professors, and made lifelong friends. Coming from out of state I found the people here to be incredibly friendly and the professors to be very supportive. What more could I have asked for?

Question
I have loved my time at tech.Quite BrightElectrical Engineering
I have loved my time at tech. I engineering it can be a very hard degree but all the professors care alot about you understanding the material and are very willing to help. Even the department head has an open door and is very easy to talk to . They try very hard to accommodate everyone and class size is small every professor knows my name and some have even came looking for me to talk to me about an interest or a job they knew I would be interested in. As far as engineering goes they prepare you for industry better then most every school as you will learn how to use the test equipment that even my boss was shocked i knew how to use. I have talked to friends and family that have went to U of A for example and they had a hard time with there degree, very little help from professors directly, and felt on there own. At tech i never believed they would care so much about my learning and understanding and about what I wanted. I get emails all the time from professors and others who came across or seeked out job opportunities just to help us out. They go the extra mile to make sure you get the job you want, a good job, before you graduate and iv even been asked by faculty in the department if anyone hasnt got a job lined up so they could keep sending job postings. Even some profesors will gladly look at your resume which isnt there job but they love to help. Carrer services also will help and has tons of workshops on everything involved with getting a job after college. Huge points for how much they care and even help you find a job and go the extra mile. Professors has helped me with personal projects and have given me great advice as well as made sure i was helped when iv had any questions. The Campus is fine and offers everything a student would want. The caff is a huge buffet with great food and cheaper then anywhere. Plenty of resources on campus and even out in town. The only complaints iv ever had where quickly resolved and they always want your feed back at the end of every class and the end of your time at tech. I feel like some colleges get better ratings but fall short in what really matters getting the students ready for industry and making sure there ready for life long learning and success.
