| Quite Bright | I recommend that not anyone attend UALR. I was a non-traditional student that worked, the professors use the students to get ahead, i.e. starting new centers on campus but the focus is on the professor that thought of the center and not the students that run them. The Criminal Juatice Dept has a few good professors but in regards to career advice they, as in career servicess, say they will help you but they are too unorganized to help you. During graduation Spr 06 and Fall 06 the speeches were all about money and how the building we were in was built because of philanthropy and we need to give back. You buy a book for $150 and try to give you $10. There are only 2 open parking lots which are free to park at but they always block spaces so you can park because of whatever meetings that are being held in spaces they rent out to groups pr businesses. | Starting Job: L P, Preparedness: C, Reputation: C- | | |

| Super Brilliant | Great value education. You work and learn with a really nice group of people in a supportive atmosphere. I love both the school and Little Rock and am glad I ended up choosing UALR over a northern school. | Education Quality: A+, Useful Schoolwork: B | | | |

I hate administration. Gawd forbid you transfer. It is easier to graduate from an Ivy League tha UALR because UALR wants you to stay forever so they can make money on your overpriced tuition and $50 salads in the DSC.
The faculty campous-wide is NOT personable and NOT connected to their students, give or take a few professors. They are few and far between.
I can speak for serveral programs at UALR because close friends. If you are reading this, it is because you are an alumnus and not trying to "get in." Any one gets in. The physics program _had_ great faculty despite its lack of funding for equipment. It used to b so easy to get a physics degree there. Go to UCA if you want a quick one. As for general classes, go to Pulaski Tech. The angry black women versus country boy ratio is the same at PTC, but the attitudes are A LOT better. | Preparedness: C-, Reputation: F | | |

| Quite Bright | I've been to several schools and UALR is by the best of them. Sure there are problems with the Administration but believe me when I say that those problems exist nearly everywhere. The faculty and students in the Finance and Economic departments are friendly and the faculty is very concerned with making sure you learn as much as you can. | Useful Schoolwork: A+, Individual Value: C | | | |
