Sort By: [Date] [Major] [Rating] Computer Science  Major Salary, Salary Trend, Satisfaction, Unemployment Bright Computer Science (College of Engineering) was a decent degree, at least back when I went there in 1987-1990. It's difficult to say which classes helped the most. You wind up using most things that you learn, in some fashion or other. Even when a class seems not directly related to your professional work.I'd recommend taking at least a few graduate-level courses in your major area, as technical electives, to get a different perspective. Also, take classes that interest you the most, even if they look difficult, and don't worry so much about grades. The course work is difficult but the faculty is approachable, friendly, and willing to help! ASU's great because it gives you the opportunity to engage in undergraduate research which can really be a HUGE help if your looking to go to graduate school. My classes were challenging but that's probably because I'm a science major. Avoid early morning classes! Education Quality: A+, Campus Maintenance: C Have a Question?
