Tempe is definitely a great town. Not so brightElectrical Engineering
Tempe is definitely a great town. I think ASU's engineering program is very practical. You can do it on the computer at the same time the professor teaches. The computer resources are great. Michael Crow is great and he is really working hard at bringing the level of the school to be more competitive nationwise. But the professors here really suck!

They don't have sense of responsibility, never reply email regarding the class, especially those on part-time basis.ASU is generally a good place to learn for engineering if they improve the standard of the professors.

College is a time where you can moveEducation
College is a time where you can move ahead by putting forth the effort or just go with the flow and get your degree. ASU was a very difficult school to stay focused on your studies. I would suggest thinking twice about the school, the size, and the atmosphere before choosing it. I received a great education but at a large cost personally.

Question
ASU is not a great academic institution.Quite BrightPolitical Science
ASU is not a great academic institution. The teachers don't care. But... the ones that do care make it worth it. Some teachers about, I'd say 2 in 5 are interesting and make you want to learn. The classes are big but once you get higher in your grade level, they get smaller

THe students are snobby, but in a good way. It seems like students care about their images way too much, but I'd rather have that, than a bunch of people that just get out of bed and don't care. The frats are lame, but the sorority girls are super hot! but snotty. Girls at ASU are incredibly hot! A 10 at Michigan is like a 6 here. The girls, non-sorortiy tend to be a lot cooler. The frat guys are kind of like walking Ken-dolls and they're eager to show you the car that they lease. But I have also made a ton of friends, because deep down ASU students are college-lovin fun people.

The social life here is unbelieveable, Mill Avenue and Scottsdale/Phoenix/Tempe always provide a lot of fun. Spring training baseball, spring break in Mexico, Cinco de Mayo, Thursdays at the Vine, Diamondbacks games and Las Vegas and San Diego are like five hours away.

ASU is an awesome real life experince and I wouldn't trade going here for anything in the world. I did not get the "academic experience" but I got an awesome real-life experience, a pretty decent education and I am getting a degree. I highly reccomed ASU to anyone that wants to live life not inside a book but rather in a fun place.

One more thing. Tuscon/ U of A sucks. it's a desert with a school in the middle. GO ASU!!!!!SUN DEVILS ARE THE SHIT!!!!!
