ASU is the mostNot so brightUndecided
ASU is the most "un"academic University in the world, the place is made up of drugs, lots of alcohol, and a bunch of guys that dont know the difference between their hear and their ass!

Question
I like the ASU college of engineering andAverageComputer Engineering
I like the ASU college of engineering and computer science because it doesn't have that Ivy League mentality floating around. The students are friendly, even though they are a little introverted. The CSE department is 70% international students, and so there isn't that "fake" arrogance or vanity that plagues much of the rest of ASU. There are not only a lot of internationals (I am from Australia) attending the college, but also a lot of age groups, which makes for a very interesting experience indeed. I think the philosophy with the students at the department is, if you like what you are studying, most likely your social life will revolve around those people that you share classes with, because the CSE department at ASU is getting harder and harder to get into. My best friends here are the people that help me survive through my classes (especially the microprocessor programming classes, ye gods).

I didn't come to ASU to party, so I don't know anything about life outside of the CSE department.

Question
Going to Arizona State has been interesting, althoughBrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
Going to Arizona State has been interesting, although the experience has not been unique at all. ASU is definately a fun place to go to school; there is never a shortage of parties or activities to participate in. You can literally drink and party and whatever throughout an entire year if you want to. The classes are rewarding for those who actually decide to put forth an efort and attend them (usually very few), however they are usually very large and not the least bit personable or interactive. ASU's biggest shortcoming is it's students--half of whom drop out before graduation. The student body is obnoxiously vain and apathetic. The school is full of people who despise anything that could be seen as possibly intellectual and a lot of the students main concern is looking good and being seen as cool. IT'S LIKE YOU NEVER LEFT HIGH SCHOOL. If you are vain and cannot be bothered with academics, you might want to look into ASU. If you are actually motivated and want learn, ASU can provide you with an education, however, you will have to put up with a lot of really vain and trashy people.
