Most professors read the power point slides to

Sep 13 2010Chemistry
Most professors read the power point slides to the class and call it lecture; I could have stayed home for that. If you even get the opportunity to ask a question do not expect an answer that makes sense. Out of 5 professors I have this semester 4 do not speak english well. Parking fees are ridiculous and spaces are tiny. Students are rude: Get used to being shoved or hit by bicycles and skateboarders.

ASU does not care about their students

Sep 22 2010Art & Design Department
ASU does not care about their students. They're understaffed and they overwork their employees. When you try to get any questions answered by any department, they tell you to go to a different department and try to pass the burden unto other staff members. Michael Crowe could care less about the art program and he takes as much money from the art program as he can to put into other programs he favors. Our building is falling apart and last year the second floor was flooded by broken pipes. It's the biggest university with over 60 thousand students. They do not know how to manage that load amount.

ASU's Industrial Engineering department - Unprofessional beh

May 26 2010Industrial Operations Engineering
ASU's Industrial Engineering department - Unprofessional behavior at administrative, faculty, and student levels; widespread cheating; frequent plagiarism; professors broke rules on class scheduling and covered up numerous violations of the honor code in four separate classes; withholding required classes; two professors were not able to communicate course material effectively in English and one of these could not speak in coherent sentences in his first class. Racial discrimination was a factor - expected from a university that pulls strings to allow an international student to get away with manslaughter.

Unprofessional behavior exhibited also by top administration. Real universities don't behave like this one does - I and many others regret ever had anything to do with these people.

On ASU's huge problem with student cheating see: "ASU Proposals Aimed at Putting Stop to Student Cheating"
