This school is just money hungry. Not so bright
This school is just money hungry. The department that it is run by are just horrible and mean. Why would anyone be part of a school that does not care for their student's well being. It is outrageous and sad to see that staff member do not care.I used to love ASU now I cannot wait to graduate from this dump. They probably treat the teachers terribly too. No lack of compassion and the services are horrible. STAY AWAY

Question
This is not a 'non-traditional student-friendly' environment.Quite Bright
This is not a 'non-traditional student-friendly' environment. My needs specific to me were not understood, recognized and in no way was I helped. I was treated a s anumber, a percentage, a statistic and many time I sought help, I was refused meetings with my own dean. ASU is also racist. If you're not an athlete, don't bother. They want your money, force you to buy expensive books that you rarely use and most times will not buy back. This university is a business, not an educational insitution. You're buying your degree. They also were not helpful with teachers who did not recognize my disability. Waste of money.

Question
A synopsis of the "social life of ASU"Not so bright
A synopsis of the "social life of ASU"
ASU has some great parties for undergrads but the thing is that if your coming from a small/medium town from the east coast that ASU will be a total change for the worst. The campus buildings are nice however outside of the campus there are multiple shootings in near by apartments and even on campus near the vue and other apartments close to campus there are shootings, fights and a lot of other things. If your coming here for a small town or your not used to the city do not come here. The parties aren't exclusive at all unless your greek. Greek life for fraternities is detereating while sororities are still doing somewhat fine. There's only one or two houses left on greek row and they are getting torn down. Also if you don't have a car or plan not to bring your car that will be a big mistake as if your stuck on campus it will be hard to go to off campus parties. Bring a car.
