| | | Strongly.......ever-so-strongly, discourage undergraduate students in even considering enrolling into the "Batchelor of Architectural Studies" ( BAS ) Program....woefully inadequate, and absolutely no resources, faculty, or structured educational environment for the study of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Physics / Physical Sciences, Mathematics, or any of the vast array of General Education studies at a "conventional" college or university--------or, even a junior college or community college. Both, the undergraduate, and the graduate ( M. Arch. ) programs prepare the students/apprentices for in-depth studies of truly functional architectural design. The degree is granted, hopefully the name, "Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture" may "get your foot in the door" with a firm as an architectural intern; however, once the firm immediately assesse your many glaring weaknesses, what then ? Please, please, think, and look, far more than 2, 3, 4, or even more times prior to even contemplating application to either program at this "school." | | May 10 2005 | Architecture | | |
