Super Brilliant
NAU is great... for the right person. The surroundings in why people live in Flagstaff. It is not Phoenix for many reasons. The main reason why some leave after the first year is they do not fully understand Flagstaff is great for only the right people. It gets cold. The town does not provide 24/7 entertainment.

What NAU excels at is: personalized instruction, the small university atmosphere, a friendly student population, a club or organization for everyone, a faculty that cares, a growing residential campus, and amazing new buildings.Plus, I think the weather is amazing.

Super Brilliant
small classes for large university, great area for recreational activities but university needs more money from either the state or by raising tuition to pay for things such as building renovations, keeping classes small

Quite Bright
I am attending nau to date, and have already become bored of it unfortunately. The campus is..nice, the professors are okay and so is the student body. everything is so-so. I came here without very high expectations, and thank god for that. It is very easy to get bored of the 5 street town of flagstaff, and the cops here are ridiculously strict. I was entertained the first month of college because i drank everyday after class. However once the excitement of the first weeks are over, youre left with not much else to do..
