Quite Bright
I was an online student, majoring in Liberal Studies with a Humanities emphasis. The coursework was more rigorous than I expected (I had been away from college for 25+ years). The work wasn't that complicated, there was just a lot of it. I got more out of finishing my bachelors' than I expected. I was very pleased, on balance with NAU. Do stay away from the part-time instructors though.

I am a student in the School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Sustainability as an Environmental Studies major and absolutely love it. NAU is a spectacular choice if interested in the fields of sustainability, natural resource conservation, or environmental studies/science. The classes are very hands-on and provide great opportunities to get real-world experience in the classroom. Not only that, but the school has great sustainability initiatives and lots of great environmental clubs. I have made wonderful connections within the field and have learned a whole lot in just one year. The outdoor opportunities in the area are also great!
