College is a unique institution in that it recognizes multiple
ways of knowing the world. Scientific, social, literary, artistic, spiritual,
and physical ways of knowing are integrated to create a
balanced liberal arts education. This is essential in educating the
whole person. Prescott College has given me this gift of
integration by allowing me to have so many different types
of experiences. I have taken classes in hard science. I
have taken classes in social thought. I have taken classes
in creative writing. I have have taken classes in religion
and philosophy. I have rafted down the Grand Canyon. I
have kayaked the Sea of Cortez. I have experienced!” -
