Quite Bright
Of the negative things I hear said about UoP, two seem to stand out the most: (1) grade inflation - everyone gets good grades (2) students do not get as much as they expected. What I'd say is that UoP is not for everyone - not because some people are better than others - but because everyone learns differently and everyone's situation is different. I work hard for my education. That's why I know that I get my money's worth from my education at UoP. I'll only get out from UoP what I put into it. Also, for me, grades do not matter much except as an affirmation of sorts. What I'm seeking is to learn and I work hard at it. After completing 13 courses so far, I know UoP is good at what they do because I'm learning. Sure, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA (per course and overall) - not because good grades are handed me, but because I work hard. In fact, I would be insulted if someone insinuates that my 4.0s were handed me. I earned them and I'm sure anyone could do the same if they work hard at it.
Collaboration/Competitive: A+, Social Life: B+

This place feels like a diploma mill. I pay 900 dollars per class and I haven't learned anything. I have had instructors that were very friendly and approachable, but, the latest one is a staircase short of a bell tower.

DO NOT attend this college. Online classes focus heavily on teamwork, and your grade will suffer if your team mates are unreliable or do not consider e-mail communications in the same light as regular communications.

Most of the faculty, although hired from the professional fields, is not up to properly teaching.
Submitted papers are run through an autograding program and seldom read by faculty and staff. Failure to format the paper exactly to specification will result in a low grade regardless of the quality of the work submitted.

The online materials and libraries are the best part of this university, as they are basically free and very comprehensive. The admissions staff is friendly and maintains contact with you during and between classes. But the instructors are HORRIBLE and spend as little time as possible actually instructing the class.
