The best thing I ever did is move from Michigan to California. A whole new world was open to me. I learned not only about my major, I grew as a person. I became an adult. I went to a city where I knew no one, best way to learn about yourself. I hated the transition at first, everything was so different, but those struggles made me work harder for what I wanted. I learned no one can do this for me, I did it for myself. I struggled, but I survived and I am happy with where I am and who I am.

I am attending the Graphic Design department, and absolutely love it. The classes I have taken have been a great resource, and I feel I have learnt so much without feeling overwhelmed. I would highly recommend this department, they are strict, but it is well worth it, as the student's work that comes out if this department is of high quality. I have noticed there is a disconnect between Senior year students and the rest of the students though. They seemed arrogant and snooty in fact, now again that could be this batch of students, but that's what I've observed so far.
