I would say that you are treated like a number here.... There are WAY too many students that go here (and that just live in the city) that you're just another face in the crowd. Teachers are rarely available outside of class, and the admin office just wants you out of their face....

Some of the teachers are really good, but I find the good ones to be rare. Overall, a decent school but just too crowded. Don't expect any special attention unless you're a ROCKSTAR from the beginning. I'm looking to transfer somewhere else, after my third semester....

For the love of God don't go here! The whole school is based around property acquisition and not much else. They have no job placement program and they don't publish any stats on job placement or salaries of graduates. Nearly every one of my friends I graduate with are under/unemployed. I was an A student and graduated early; and now I'm looking for work in another field... ditto fro my friends. For the amount of money the school charges, and the debt you'll have, you probably won't be able to pay it off.

The School is a money trap. You will never finish your degree in the time span you think. Funds will run dry and you will be standing alone in the urine soaked streets of San Francisco with unpayable debt and unrealized dreams.
The Students who write good things of the school are in a form a personal denial of their financial fate. denial of their huge debts and rationalize their prescribed curriculum like battered children afraid to question their abuser.

I went to the SAE program for high school students and had the time of my life. I shunned all other colleges and enrolled for AAU. I left a week after I graduated and started the summer term. I had a good Fashion Business class. And a horrible Fashion Illustration class. The school wasted my time and money. The housing department was full of ignorance. The school just wanted money money money. The acquisition of property was a bit suspiscious. And not too mention the dorms were in bad shape compared to the other facilities. The president never shows her face....just rides around in her ghetto limo. The VP was really nice. Some faculty is great...the rest is full of you know what. Luckily I figured out that I needed to withdraw and enroll somehwere else earlier than most. For two months of BS, I am already having to pay off a good amount of loans....and I'm barely 18! This school is a joke. If you don't plan on needing a job when you are older, then go to AAU....because I highly doubt you will be rich and famous through this school. They make too many promises they can't keep. And for over 30 grand a year, I think they should give a bit more to the students than they do.
