Positive Negative Neutral Advice
First and foremost, AIU has its negatives andBusiness - Management and Administration
First and foremost, AIU has its negatives and positives. For instance, a positive may be some of the professors--such as Dr. Dennis Morrison, Paul Sabolic, Shirley Chuo, Barbara Son, and Lou Versace. The educators named above are mentors and have an increadible talent to teach, motivate, and simply help as much as possible. They are mentors who will assist you in learning and in life-They are the reason I am greatful to have attended this school. Furthermore, the social life is fantastic, people are friendly and sweet-I've met life long friends in attending this school. However, I will advise a school with more prestige because no employer ever knows who or what is AIU-except that it comes out on commercials! If your not accepted into a "great" school then my only suggestion is to at least try to obtain classes with the teachers listed above.

Question
The Faculty is greatQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
The Faculty is great and the work is applicable to future employment. The financial aid department is retarded and never up on things. This is not a party school or the type of place you go to meet girls. Most students are older and serious about their studies.

Question
AIU offers educational value, particularly with their onlineQuite BrightComputer Science
AIU offers educational value, particularly with their online/distance learning program. The school values diversity and is more academically challenging than one might expect for a "value priced" university and relatively low SAT scores. Some professors are well known published authors and some are very helpful - interested in the student's success. Rigor is fairly high(for research documentation that must accompany assignments). I like all the campus choices and the learn abroad programs. Computer Science curriculum is "real world" oriented.Placed high focus and value on group projects, which was something of a "downer" for me (too easy for others not to carry their weight).
