Making the decision to come to this University was the worst decision that I have made in my life. Not only is it extremely overpriced for what you are getting, the staff and administration are often rude and incompetent. It takes days for professors and administration to get back with you (if they even do). Many of the people in public service areas (eateries around campus etc) are rude. If you choose to go to this school, keep records of absolutely everything, and never believe the first person who tells you something (whether it's at the Tech office, Financial Aid, or anywhere else administrative).

Azusa Pacific was the worst college experience ever. The majority of the students are snooty, arrogant and closeminded. In addition, many of the students are closed off the others. In other words, if you are not a republican christian, then you will get the short stick of things. You will be treated differently and such. Finding friends will be extremely difficult since most people aren't really open to free thinking. Most people at APU just generally talk about how the love Jesus all of the time. It's like "I get that you love Jesus but could you STFU and talk about something else."I felt like Galileo when he was shunned and exiled for free thinking and being himself... The events are extremely uninteresting unless you still haven't grasped what real fun is. In addition, many of these student events would better suit high school students or younger. I could go on and on talking about how pathetic APU is but it would take to long. In sum, APU is just a glorified high school that doesn't look kindly to free thinking and more. Almost forgot, the school is not diverse whatsoever.

If you are not Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Wesleyan...do not go to this school. If you are Charismatic, Catholic, Pentecostal, Independent do not go to this school. If you think that you are really talented and musically gifted - go to a better school than this one. They play favorites - BIG TIME.
