Not so bright
Cal Poly Pomona offered me a chance for a great education and I'm glad I took my path through Cal Poly. I learned through many perspective from hands on lab to engaging indepth classroom lecture.Be proactive and learn as much as you can. Get involved as much as you can, you will understand what college is really about.. Learn and Engage.

Overall my experience here at Cal Poly were mostly positive, of course anyone can pick out negative stuff (its funny how we as human tend to remember more negative than positive) and blame it on the university. But as a student here at Cal Poly, I found that its up to the individual to seek out opportunities and resources to help enhanced the college experience.

I found that by having an open mind and friendly attitude, opportunities will find its way to you. I have gotten to work with few of my professors on some research that I never thought I would have the opportunity to. I found that Cal Poly have many qualities that rival a much more expensive university. Here with its faculty openness, I regular visit and talk to my professors and seek their advice. They are very friendly and always open to your questions.

As for the student body, I have meet many great people and they share very similar experiences even we come from very different background. The value of education is one of life’s most cherished experiences and so my advice is go out there and explore it while you are able to.
