Let me preface this by saying I'm aSuper BrilliantComputer Engineering
Let me preface this by saying I'm a 31 yr old senior on the verge of graduating in their "Computer Technology: Professional Track" program. I've also worked in my field for over a decade (IT Tech) prior to attending CSUDH.

In full honesty, I believe you can do better than attending this horrible excuse for an educational institution. I had no choice but to go here for various personal reasons I won't get into. The self-proclaimed "professors" are all absolute abominations and an embarrassment to education itself. They fail to deliver any real education and instead function as massive stressors only to see how much B.S you can take and keep pushing forward. It's only a test of your perseverance and patience.

If you NEED that piece of paper called a BA degree for your line of work and you want to do it amongst the dumbest most idiotic people (the students will make your head hurt just as much as the professors) in return for a more affordable program than this is for you.

If you have a choice to self teach yourself and not have that piece of paper, then AVOID THIS HELL HOLE AT ALL COSTS! Use the internet, use udemy, use anything at all on the net to learn what you want because NO ONE HERE will teach you jack!!! One of my professors literally tells us to google it whenever we have a question.

This place is the best example of why the american education system sucks and will only get worse.
You've been warned.

The one and I only thing I likeNot so brightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
The one and I only thing I like about this school is my classmates have been overwhelming friendly and open minded. It's a really diverse non-traditional crowd. Awesome, nice people.

Th rest was fuckin horrible. Teachers in my major are condescending and don't care. Only there for a paycheck. Have no clue how some of them were given tenure bc there's much much talent out there. Financial aid/records people ghetto as hell and inefficient, expect lines and attitude. Nobody here is helpful and there is a lot of bureaucracy to deal with.Avoid this place. Worst school in LA.

The school Admissions and Record have a verySuper BrilliantBusiness - Management and Administration
The school Admissions and Record have a very poor communication between departments and academic advisement. I have to bounce around to different places to get answers; Once exhausted from trying to find answers new problems come up. I was ill advise by my academic counselor that I had to extend my stay at the school and it made it difficult to attain my diploma. It has been four months since I have taken my class and I am still trying to figure out why diploma has not arrived. Every week I will call and show up in person to the Admissions and records office but I was told that it was not their issue to handle.
