CSUN does a good job doing what it was designed to do. This is a state college designed to provide an affordable college education to the local students living in this area.

If you come here thinking it will be a high end college like Stanford you will be disappointed. You need to realize that the majority of people who go here do so because they can get in and they can afford it.If you are able to go here and still live at home this is an excellent value. You will be able to obtain a bachelor degree and probably not have any debt.

Not so bright
Some teachers at the school care about their students. Faculty dont care if you make it though college and dont care if you graduate on time. They do not try to get you out and graduate on time. They do not offer the classes that are needed and you do not offer enough classes for everyone to get into. They make all their classes for the same time and same day so you cant register for a variety of classes.

CSUN is great. When your in college you need to get involved. Thats what Im doing and I am having a blast here. Our schools getting better year by year! The new performing arts center, matador statue and UPCOMING GYM are all gonna be majorly beneficial. The new gym cost like 27 million and is supposed to resemble UCLA's and Cal Fullerton's but better! The campus is beautiful and the town is slowing coming together. We have a lot of great concerts and parties on campus too. Soon enough we will have the ultimate college town.
