I came from SLO to this place, only to have my education downgraded. Seriously, the SBS department is full of professors with serious life problems that gives them excuses to not grade anything until the last week. Dr. Shenk = Badass teacher. Dr. Bales = Most unorganized teacher i have ever had. Prof. Morley=mean person, angry at her own life situation, so she takes it out on her students. I can say so many more negatives with very little positives about the college and the SBS dept. COPS EVERYWHERE who sit at stop signs with nothing better to do. I can not speak as highly for the others departments. I took kinesiology classes as well and they were so easy it was a joke. This campus is not a party school or extremely fun environment, so it may not be a fit for everyone. I am very satisfied with the CSUMB Biology experience.
