 | Bright | CSUMB staff are not just horrible at their job, they're horrible people. You have many instructors who throw you a text book on day one, and call it a semester. You have instructors openly admitting to providing students with study guides that only prepare you to get a C if you commit that study guide to memory, then blaming the students for low test scores. Admissions are some of the lowest forms of life in this school, they hate their jobs, and it shows. CSUMB does not practice the SERVICE CULTURE AND ETHICS it preaches so often in it's Business School. I laugh when they email/call me about their new online graduate program. I got my Bachelors degree there, but would never spend one more dollar to fund the mass stupidity that takes place their. Don't take my word for it though, go there and see for yourself how it feels to NOT get what your promised when your asked to pay for their educational "service." | Campus Aesthetics: B, Individual Value: F | | | |

Here's an email from the Chief of Police regarding rape/sexual assults that happened last week:
"Important message from University Chief of Police
Dear students, staff and faculty,
I am writing to make you aware of incidents of sexual assault involving students that have occurred on our campus during the past three weeks. The University Police Department and other university resources are respondingto these reports in every possible way and addressing them with the utmost seriousness.
A total of four incidents have been reported, including one case of alleged rape. In each instance, the involved parties were acquaintances, and all four victims are students. All involved parties have been contacted and interviewed by our department. None of these incidents are related, and there is no known threat to the community." No wonder the violent crime rate at this place is out of control. The police here don't think that rapist and molesters are a threat to the community. Also, when a woman stabbed her husband to death, the Monterey County district attorney dropped the murder charges against her because the CSUMB campus police testified on her behalf. | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |

| Quite Bright | CSUMB does its very best to make it impossible to graduate in four years. It is also very challenging to transfer units in or out of CSUMB to any other four year establishment.
