Don't expect much effort from any of theQuite BrightMechanical Engineering
Don't expect much effort from any of the physic or science professors. I am a straight A student but the physic department in the school is the worst. I know what you are thinking this guy just got a bad grade and writing a bad review, yes I got a 68%. But i still would have added this review if I got a 90%. This is a warning for future students wanting a degree that requires physics. Do not go to this school, to start they had to add an extra course for any students needing physic because so many people were failing. The students that did squeak by when they transferred they failed because they had no idea what was going on in the higher levels. My 129 physics class started 26 students and more wanting to add, 13 students took the final 5 failed the class. My 130 physics cass 27 students started the class 15 took the final 7 failed the class. Explain that! The test these teachers write are impossible and some teachers if you question don't cear. I got 2 questions on my test correct that were marked wrong, teacher did not cear and I was not the only student with this problem. It seemed to happen every test, but his excuse was his answer key says hes correct. PLEASE if you plan to be an engineer or another degree requiring physics Do Not Attend this college!

My time at DVC has been great.Super BrilliantChemical Engineering
My time at DVC has been great. I did really well in high school, but because of money and immaturity I decided to stay home and go to DVC. I've changed my major a couple of times, but i have mostly been taking science classes. All my professors have been great (except for some part time math professors). The professors really care about the students. The academics have been hard! I was really surprised by the rigor of the science classes, since all my life I had heard that community colleges are easy. It is very easy to make friends. However DVC services a large area, so you might not find friends that live near you.
