MJC prepared me very well for university studies and life. at least in history, political science, psychology, philosophy, and english, the instructors were very progressive and highly intelligent and very helpful. The YCCD Board of Trustees are NOT to be TRUSTED! The New College President is quite insane and is COMPLETELY reorganizing this school by eliminating all Vocational Programs that we NEED for Jobs! The school administration is run by complete idiots who have NO classroom teaching experience! STAY AWAY FROM MJC!!!Try Delta College or Sacramento. I live just across the street from the campus and have heard gunshots and cars speeding away many times in the two years since I've lived here.
