The worst university ever. The teachers are never prepared for the class and they do not spend not even 1 hour in creating or editing the syllabus. The even work with 3 years old syllabus. The assign teachers that do not even know the their assignments. The teachers manipulate the grades and they do not grade you what you earned, but what they want to grade. Many teachers take too long to post the grades. Grade appeal is useless because the departments do not care. Many teachers have other jobs, so they do not even enter to online class non they have time to answer emails or help the students. The only thing National University is good at is rising the tuition every year.

I chose National primarily because of its convenience. I was working a full-time day job, and SDSU and UCSD did not offer night programs(courses). After attending National for a few classes, I grew to enjoy and appreciate the class-work, and the environment. I was able to schedule the classes I needed for my degree, and I felt the work load, and responsibilty of maintaining a good grade was no different than taking classes at Santa Monica College, where I spent my first two years of college. I do wish National would focus on a daytime program. This would allow for a wider spectrum of students to attend a school which really hasn't gotten the recognition it deserves. National has a attitude that they only offer night classes, because that's what they do best. Their attitude should be , that education is what they do best, and offer it to everyone. All in all, National is a very good university.

I attened Grossmont College for about two years and got no where! The tradition collge route was just not for me and I honestly did not want to spend 16 weeks taking a random GE class. I started National University a year ago and have learned and accomplished so much. My instructors have been beyond wonderful! All my science instructors have all earned a Ph.D in their field with years of experience teaching; they have all been amazing teachers. NU is for people who want to get their degree done in a reasonable amount of time while getting a quality education and thats it! Going to paries every weeked in not going to cut it here. The classes are fast paced and if your serious about your education and work hard you will succeed while taking with you valuable knowledge from each and every class.
