Palomar is good to start your college career.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Palomar is good to start your college career.
I know people who went for 4 years and left without a degree I know people who started there who now are MBA students.

I had as many good teachers as bad teachers. As many outstanding teachers (Speech class I met my wife) as horrible ones (History teacher told me a funeral for my friend was a waste of my time).

If you go there, have a plan to get out, the counselors are notorious for not helping you get through the program fast, they often times suggest useless courses not meant to help you graduate.

This school is not perfect, it does a few things very well, especially accounting and business based courses, honestly the accounting professors were as good as my 4 year professors. If you are a veteran, this is a good place to start, they really really really know how to maximize your benefits and are very hands on with help.

Question
I am a high school student who isBrightOther
I am a high school student who is enrolled and taking multiple college classes concurrently with High School classes. Initially I was taking evening classes but this campus is very very unsafe at night. I actually had someone follow me to my car. The incident was reported and campus security's advice was to switch to day classes if I was afraid of the dark. I now take one day class. The evening division faculty was friendlier and more helpful than the daytime faculty and staff. Having more contact with daytime administrators I have come to realize the school administration is not there to help or advise students. This school is fine to supplement high school classes but do not rely on the staff to take an academic interest in you personally and don't be surprised if you find the students employees and clerks to be on the mean side and resentful of others. I strongly suggest you have your own plan, avoid this campus and the surrounding area at night and realize Palomar is a community college and does not offer the education or degree that a four year university does.

Question
Do not sign up for the interior designQuite BrightInterior Design
Do not sign up for the interior design program at Palomar College. The instructors are unprofessional and discriminating. Lori Graham is the head of the department as well as the head of the problems in this department. I would say that she has failed as an instructor and this department is a waste of student time and money!
