this school is beyond disappointing! this school is the epitome of the reason community colleges get a bad reputation. The financial aid staff is very remiss in their jobs (try calling and catch the long-winded recording you must listen to before you even recieve the option to speak to a real person***and that's if*** the recording hasn't taken up all the time before they decide early in the afternoon to no longer answer phone calls!)

the advisors or aweful too! to just schedule an appointment was horrific and then the advisor canceled causing me to have to wait another month for an appointment. This is particulary sad because I was in classes with several older individuals that really needed help on their journey to get into another career choice late in life, and they all had terrible stories of the advisors letting them down!

there is a lot you have to take from this school and a lot of grinning and bearing it if this is where you hope to "make it".

entire financial aid department- sick, lazy, clueless and insensitive!!!
I beg you, do all that you can to avoid going here- I don't know you all personally who are considering this place, but I do know I would not even send my enemy here.

Run!!!idk how it was in the past but I do know that in 2013, it is probably one of the worst institutions to get an education from. Maybe the new president has something to do with the lack in performance in several of the departments????

I've moved around a bit so I've beenQuite BrightChemical Engineering
I've moved around a bit so I've been to several colleges and this was by far the worst. Chemistry teacher was rude, unhelpful, and didn't really seem to understand how to teach. Labs made no sense with lectures. Calculus teacher was not very knowledgeable. Nearly impossible to get any kind of financial aid and has accreditation issues. Well worth the drive to San Fran or Sac to go to school.

I have never been so disappointed.Average
I have never been so disappointed. Until I RELOCATE I have no other option. There seems to be a large number of students who are there to "complete high school" - many of these appear to be GANG members or behave as they would if they were gang affiliated. I don't know if they are there to 'fulfill" some program requirement (As if they were expelled from public high school and are now in the very classes I am paying to be taking.)
