I took the Motorcycle technology courses mostly. The program is good but it seems the dept. is a blacksheep in the school. Funding seems to not be there and besides the main shop the classes are always having to fight for a classroom day to day. The actual program is very good if you can overlook the rest. Some instructers are in motorcycle shops during the day and teach at night.

I also took a class on History and it was horrible. The guy was the typical white hippie liberal. For the couple weeks I took the class before dropping it he repeated explained how the white europeans are to blame for all the cultures falling in the world and how superior these cultures were. He then made a few comments about how Bush is bad (big surprise). He also liked to mention how he was graduationing from some big university back east. Who cares..

During the day the campus looks like a BET video or something. Lots of ebonics and Nigga this, Nigga that floating around. I think the school district calls this "diversity". I say end free education so the rest of us can focus and not get mugged in the quad. I once saw a bunch of these ghetto "students" walk into the cafe or whatever and open their jackets and stuff them with chips off the rack and walk out. Typical..

Oh and the cops on campus...These guys are a joke. My girlfriend got a ticket for parking and she had a current pass but it was on top of 20 other old passes so the cop looked at an old one and gave her a ticket. She took the current pass to the campus police station and they said they couldn't do anything about it and she had to contest it with a form. She sent the ticket proving she paid and the form and a month later got a letter back saying they won't reverse the ticket. WTF? Must need the money for the new parking garage. Speaking on that it's a great garage but you need a ticket to park inside the thing and the ticket machines are scattered in the parking lots. You'd think they would put one in the entrance but that would make it too easy...Every parking garage I've even been to had a fricking ticket machine at the entrance.

The campus police can usually be found on Freeport Blvd. or Sutterville driving around pulling over regular people for equipment violations. These are the same people who have to pay higher taxes because they live by the school.

Those cops should be protecting students walking back to their car not playing policeman on the main roads around the school.
