UGLY Girls are a fact. I always thought that the college experience should involve more than obtaining a diploma. I envisioned a time and place where one could also date and meet girls. Its been said that the majority of married couples met while in college. Well unfortunately this is not the case for many at this school. Remember the high school crowd that studied really hard because they had no social life, because they were weird or unattractive? Well, they all got accepted into Berkeley. About 99% of all the women are ugly and the very few who are pretty are all in serious relationships. This observation is a revolving discussion at fraternity parties, so I'm not alone in my opinion. Chico State or Santa Barbara is where to go for the pretty girls.

Berkeley is not a place for everyone. For those who enjoy a large student body, lively surroundings, demanding courses and fascinating students Berkeley is the place for you. For those who are a little timid or unsure of their ability to be independent I would suggest a smaller school. There are many great opportunites at Berkeley to recieve an incredible education but these opportunities are not handed to you, you have to search for them and make them happen. Also, a lot of people seem to hold the idea that Berkeley is full of hippies, radicals and eccentrics. While many of the city residents are this way, the university it's self is full of individuals who are more politically centered than anything.
