Bright
Cal has something for everyone and is a "people stretcher." It teaches you how to succeed outside your comfort zone. Biggest surprise is how accessable all the professors are and enjoy their interaction with undergraduates. It's not for everyone, but probably as interesting a college experience as you could possibly find.

Quite Bright
Berkeley is a do it yourself kind of school. You are responsible for everything. However, if you want to speak one on one with a professor, it isn't a problem as long as you go during posted office hours.

Not impossible to get A's if you keep up with your studies, but that's difficult to do with all the distractions.

If you plan on going to grad school, you should attend a private school, much, much easier to get good grades.

Not so bright
planning planning planning
back-up and redundant plans
have 3 calendars monthly annual and
four-year.
make lists every day, type up your notes and file them by date. review daily. remember, your job is to get a's.
