Beautiful campus, challenging programs, diverse student body, tons of opportunities to get involved (volunteering, internships, school activities, etc.), great sports teams, Westwood, beautiful weather, the beach and the 2nd biggest city in the country. UCLA has it all. It's no wonder it gets more applicants than any other school in the country.

I see that the University of Second Choice is at it again! UCLA is so outstanding and there is quite obviously a reason that it is the number one applied to university in the country. Disregard the silly negative comments. If you look carefully, you will see a certain similarity of, what I loosely call, writing style.Simply look at the positive comments, because they are dead accurate. UCLA is a DREAM school.

UCLA was a dream school for me. Big, beautiful, exciting, motivating, I could go on and on. My degree is respected outside of the U.S., too. Know that when you go to UCLA you will have opportunities that most students will not have. UCLA has it all. Enjoy the fabulous professors, and classes. Take a class just for fun! Enjoy the beauty of the campus and the perfect weather. Be happy that you are one of the very select students who got in to UCLA. Study hard, join groups, talk to people, take the time to talk to your professors, eat, drink and be merry, because this is a great life!
