Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Overall my experience at ULV is very positive.BrightPsychology
Overall my experience at ULV is very positive. I majored in behavioral science which is a combination of sociology, psychology, and anthropology. I graduated in the Spring of 2005.

I HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone, especially individuals looking to enter the field or sub-fields of education. Granted, it is costly, but there is financial aid.

The faculty are helpful, and responsive. If you ask for help, they will find the time to assist you. To be honest, you will get out ULV what ever you put in. The instructors are top notch but they don't tolerate BS.

The class sizes are small, and the school is small. It's a very close knit community where your instructors will know you by name. If they pass you on the street they will speak...especially if you missed class.

Granted, there is not a lot to do in La Verne, but there are a lot of cool hangout spots within a few miles of campus. If you want something to do, you can access it fairly easilly. Personally, I beleive that I received a top notch education. ULV is a VERY reputable school and it's highly recognized for it's education department. I landed a good job in higher education shortly after graduating.

Question
I am a undergraduate law student at theQuite Bright
I am a undergraduate law student at the University. I received neutral reviews from various institutions, but the motivating factor that contributed to my submission, was the law programs kindness and one-on-one mentoring. The class sizes are small but very competitive. When I walk throughout the campus, students are studying and collaborating among each other. I find my experience to be very motivating and rewarding. I recently heard tuition hikes are considered for UC campuses. My friend might have to drop out of UCLA because of the new fee hikes. He is now inquiring about University of Laverne. I think this is a great institution for those who are serious about there academics. Laverne University is lacking in prestige but they are slowly but surely receiving high reviews from federal military organizations and numerous colleges. If UC's continue to constantly increase their fees, colleges like Laverne will gain higher marks. I look for this University to become very prestigious in the coming years.

Question
The school was GREAT for the first toQuite BrightBiology
The school was GREAT for the first to years, but then the lies set in. I went to a private school to get more money and get classes, both faded once they had me hooked as a sophomore; but going into junior year was unbearable, I had to transfer. They are taking WAY too many kids, and do not have the space for them. The school is too political and if you are not everyones favorite, they will make sure you do not succeed. It was disappointing to experience.
