USC is a great school. It has awesome academics, athletics and provides student and alums with an awesome network. That is the only reason I have not yet left!

I hate going to class everyday, I think the attitude on this campus is negative and in general, people are not very friendly. There are WAY TOO MANY sorority chicks(who you cant tell apart!) and frat boys and they all think they are way too cool. I am a freshman and I do not see myself graduating from here. While the academics are very distinguised, and I would probably have an easier time getting a job with a USC degree, I do not feel like living in this type of environment. This school has a lot of potential(not only the football team, but the whole school!) and it is a shame that it does not live up to its possible greatness.

When I decided to come to USC I thought I would have the opportunity to meet many different kinds of people but low and behold this school is made up of frat boys and soroity girls. I felt that if you went "one of them" you aren't worth the time to get to know. I was also disapointed in the quailty of resources that are offered to freshman. My material science lab was a joke when it came to equipment. There wasn't even tables or desks to work on. If you are down with Greek life and football then I recommend this college, but if you tend to stray from the typical path and crave indivduality I suggest you look elsewhere because USC is a conformers heaven.

This is a very challenging place to be, the courseload is strong and difficult. The music program is superior.
