For me, the USC experience was a completeJournalism
For me, the USC experience was a complete joke. The school itself wasn't that bad....although there were several classes I took in which I looked at my watch for the entire period, begging for the class to end soon. But as a whole, the classes weren't too bad. What really made my USC experience terrible was the people---the teachers and the students. There was one particular teacher, who made my life a living hell. He was exceptionally creepy, and had stalker tendencies. He also had the nerve to tell me that I have no class. The students weren't much better. For a school that seems to pride itself on intellectual development, the students weren't very bright. Supposedly, one of the benefits of going to USC was the social atmosphere. In reality, the social scene was composed of a system designed to exclude those without athletic or Greek connections. And the only women I could get a date with, were those who were willing to take advantage of my wallet, and then never call me again.Don't make the mistake I did. Do not attend USC. You deserve better.

The atmosphere at USC is great.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
The atmosphere at USC is great. Everyone is part of one big family, which can easily be seen at the sporting events. Yes, the Greek system does have its downs feeling they are better than everyone else; however, the entire student body is not Greek. It is easy to meet people and have a large group of friends even if you do not partake in Greek. USC is also great because it is close to Santa Monica, Hollywood, and the Staples Center (making visits to see the LA Kings or LA Lakers extremely easy).

Question
USC is great.Quite BrightUndecided
USC is great. While being expensive, scholarships and financial aid are readily available, unlike most private universities. Both liberal arts and pre-professional programs are strong, so USC is perfect for the undeclared student. The surrounding neighborhood is questionable, but the beautiful campus makes up for it, and safety is a high priority. Trojan school spirit exemplified by athetic teams and the Greateset Marching Band in the History of the Universe is rivaled by few other universities. Because it is smaller than most D-I schools and because it so diverse, campus clubs and organizations are easy to get involved with. Greek life is present, but not dominating, and you can't beat the weather. GO TROJANS
