I received a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture. Excellent Program. the Interior Architecture program is very respected in the Los Angeles area and when the economy was good, getting a job was not a problem based on the respect for the program. I left with solid skills that were able t open doors to further growth which has compounded my skills allowing for further doors to be opened. It wasn't a "social" school to go and have fun - you go there to work and get an education/ skills to thrive in the future.

First and foremost, this school is definitely NOT worth the money. I am from a smaller city in California so I wanted to experience a university in a more "exciting" city. Woodbury seemed perfect in every way (except, of course, for the price), but the campus location, the actual campus, the majors offered...were all attractive to me. But then, as the semester began and progressed, I noticed how things really were. Several teachers were extremely arrogant, obnoxious, and just lousy at their jobs. Some staff members in the main offices were rude and unhelpful and the students (especially in the fashion department) were so snobby, unfriendly, and unapproachable. I just couldn't believe how rude people were being...they all seemed to give off that "I'm better than you because I'm from LA and rich" vibe. You could barely get a smile out of any of them. They sure would look you up and down, though. It really made being away from home for the first time a bit unpleasant and extremely lonely. Even people living in the dorms were distant and unapproachable. With the exception of one very friendly girl and a couple of guys, the people who work at Woody's, the cafeteria, were so rude and would never give you even a smile, let alone, a greeting. And I thought people from my hometown weren't that polite, but people at Woodbury make my hometown seem like the friendliest people in the world. However, the nicest people I DID meet at Woodbury were all international or out of state students.

I just wouldn't recommend Woodbury at all unless you absolutely want one of the majors they offer that no one else really does (i.e. fashion marketing) or if you can actually afford it without getting in debt. The quality of education is one that you can get at ANY CSU for waaaaaay cheaper. Woodbury is just one big networking for-profit university. It's a "who you know, not want you know" kind of place. Do yourself a favor, save some money and attend a school where people actually care to get to know you and accept you. BUT, if you do happen to go to Woodbury, just remember: beware of the coyotes. They're EVERYWHERE at night and sometimes even in the day.

I like that it's easy to make friends...people always say hi and are pretty friendly. I also like that the professors (well, most of them) make an effort to get to know you. However, there's really nothing to do on campus. Sure, the clubs hold events, but no one actually attends. The food is always the same (there's only one place to eat!) and sometimes it's pretty weird/gross. Oh, and sometimes I feel like maybe the classes/programs are too easy. Some of my high school classes were harder than the ones I'm taking now.
