I am currently a school psychologist in the Temecula Valley Unified School District working on the Psy D. in Educational Psychology. CSPP-Alliant International S.D. is not Harvard. They don't purport to be a Harvard. Nevertheless, in the year that I have been there I have found it to be a good school with rigorous but doable academic standards. All of my professors so far have been very knowledgeable in the subjects that they have taught. The school is regionally accredited through WASC and some of the programs are APA approved. Wikipedia states that the school is non-profit. I tend to believe this because some of the buildings are not exactly aesthetically pleasing. ha, ha. If they were for profit they would probably have more money to fancy the place up a bit. That being said, I believe the school is perfect for working professionals like myself who wish to grow in their professions and take the next step. It is what you make of it. There is no way that I am going to spend 40 to $50,000 and not get something out of it. I have learned a great deal since coming to Alliant, practical info that I have been able to implement immediately on the job to help children learn. I think Alliant is a blessing for people like me. I have also recommended the school to several of my friends. Ethically, I would not do that if I did not believe in what they are doing.

Very expensive degree. MAFM degree with a large student loan debt and getting a job has been real difficult. I don't recommend this program because it's high priced, for profit and it is not as highly regarded as a normal university. Do your research before you spend the money to go here. It is very expensive for what you get.
