Do not trust the financial aid dept. They get kickbacks from loan company with crazy interest rates.
Do not believe admissions when they say that only one in three people get in, they let anyone in, especially those that can't afford it.
You are a number here.
A few faculty in your dept. will be amazing, everyone else is getting a paycheck and probably good incentives from Sallie Mae.
You will have horrible studio space accommodations, if any. School does not foster a creative comeradery, you are on your own. School does not have after hours for studying, research, projects etc.
Dorms are far away from the school and a rip off. Cheaper to rent near the school. Or don't attend this school and you won't have to worry about it.
Very very overpriced tech school.
They will give you a refund of your student loan money when you don't have enough to cover classes the following quarter, do not take out more than you need to.
Gen. Eds. are a joke, you will not be challenged or learn anything useful for anything other than an expensive A or B. Make sure your credits will transfer out, they may not be regionally accredited. It DOES matter, even if you think you'll go here 'til you get your degree because you might not. Classes are enormous, not tiny and intimate like they say. | Faculty Accessibility: A, Useful Schoolwork: F | | | |

| Super Brilliant | AIC has given me a solid technical base, but one thing it completely missed was teaching me how to actually find work. The only advice I can give is, "network like mad". | Starting Job: freelance designer, Preparedness: B+, Reputation: B | | |

| Bright | It is extremely expensive and if you decide that the program/field you initially choose is not what you want to do. You are in a tough spot, many credits do not transfer to other universities, and you would have to retake most classes. And I do feel that it is overpriced for enducation. After graduation, all the promised help with job placement was not there. I would reccommend getting your general education at a regular college or university and then if you want this school on your transcript, transfer for your core classes. | Surrounding City: A+, Extracurricular Activities: F | | | |
