This school provided strong engineering foundation both academically and practically. Workplace found CSM graduates to be very appealing due to their technical capability and work ethic. Workload in school was heavy, but it paid off.

Colorado School of Mines is a wonderful school if you want to do engineering. There are more than 100 clubs and a wonderful outdoor recreation center. Everything is easy to get involved in and all of the teachers are friendly and helpful. The campus is right next to hiking and biking trails.

The technical education I received at Mines was quite good, and I had a more solid background compared to many of my peers at work. But I recognized early on that I had to develop the skills necessary to work on technical projects in a team environment. I believe that this is now much more of a focus at Mines.
