Colorado State University is very disorganized.Quite BrightChemistry
Colorado State University is very disorganized. I had to actually go and correct the heath center about my vaccination records even though I faxed them my records 3 times! When I got there to talk to them about it, they couldn't even find a single one of them! I also changed my major and submitted the form in October. It is now January and they just now changed my major! There is a church group that is consistently on campus and seems to enjoy arguing with some of the students over their beliefs. The chemistry department does not seem to care about their students or if their students succeed. As a result, they lost a lot of chemistry majors this past semester. Some of the staff appears to be very knowledgable about their subjects, while others seem to have no clue about what they are teaching. The campus is really pretty. The party scene at the college exists, but be prepared for parties to get broken up quickly. The dorms are pretty nice to live in, but they can sometimes get really noisy.

Math department is awful! Very unhelpful and with no care or concern to success of the students. Otherwise very pleased with school...however i feel that the administration should focus more on the students' success and less on their personal research. Some courses accept very very low class average test scores (50%) and then curve the course disregarding the fact that the students did not learn the material. Overall i have loved my experience at CSU!

Question
This place is harder than I thought itQuite BrightBiology
This place is harder than I thought it would be. Some of the classes are too big and the professors are too busy to help but that's what college is all about. The students are pretty laid back; pretty girls- much better looking than back in my home state (Texas). But the tuition is way high and I noticed their not too close to a beach. Most of the students seem genuinely happy to be here and some of them seem pretty surprised that they are (they're the ones who are really having a hard time in the classes) so I'm not sure they'll be around next year, so here's my advice. Enjoy it while you can. Lots of clubs and things to do in town. Maybe I won't feel that way after a few years but for now it's all new and I'm not missing much of anything except my black lab.
